does anyone know the measurements for the front mount holes so I can drill the plate for the bolts to go through? I know the bolt size is 7/16" or whatever, but I am asking about the location of where the holes are at on the mount side to side and how far apart so I drill in the correct location the first time. thank you

1. Buy a front mount assembly. Most of the resto-ripoff places sell them. Re-using your old worn out mount is probably not a really good idea.

2. Measure the bolt spacing and drill the holes to fit.

i have a new mount.

are the bolt holes centered on the plate? front to back

I guess I will put the engine in using the rear crossmember mounts and set it in place then mark the location of the front mount and drill

I got the engine in and the rear mounts attached to the bellhousing. bolts through the rear mounts and crossmember. I spray painted the underside of the front mount to mark the location I need to drill the front plate after I pull the engine back out.
