The engine is in an auction near me. No one has bid on it. Starting bid is $5. Engine is complete minus the air cleaner. Includes the bellhousing and flywheel. Thinking about it.

Seriously,if not stuck lotta good stuff there, look close for freeze cracks, see if it will turn full revolution!!! | | | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 583 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 583 | You're spot on about climbing over engines, etc. in the shop. Got a Ford Model A engine that a guy purchased from me 5 years ago for $25 and never picked it up. A 1938 216 Chevy engine, a Mercury boat motor, Jiffy Ice Auger, 1997 Ford Ranger automatic trans. No need for any of it. Thinking about scrapping the 216 and automatic trans. If the 216 in my 39 stake truck becomes a problem, I'll probably replace it with a 235. I've had several 235 engines and gave them away.
