Good afternoon everyone - just signed up after years of poking around on here when I needed technical assistance and thought I might as well sign up so I can participate instead of just strictly lurking.

Currently have a '53 Chevrolet 150 tudor all taken apart, a '28 model A coupe all taken apart and about to start on a '52 GMC along with my pops (waiting it's turn to be...all taken apart).

Thanks for having me!

Welcome to Stovebolt. smile
Sounds like you’re taking a big bite project-wise. One project at a time is plenty for most of us.

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.

Welcome to the 'bolt.. with all those taken apart projects, maybe you might consider just driving the truck for a while? assuming that it is roadworthy

Another quality post.

Haha, the fact that I am better at taking stuff apart than I am at reassembling it is not lost on me one bit.

The pickup is not roadworthy, it was parked in the 60's and hasn't moved since. It's in very good/complete shape, we already located a 261 and a spare chassis so unlike most of my projects dad is planning ahead in order to have most of the major items squared away before starting.
