Man, take a deep breath before hitting the "Bid Now" button. That truck has spent all it's life in Northern New England.... home of long humid winters and plenty of road salt. Looks like the project from heck to me. No wonder the bidding isn't even into four digits yet...

A 49 COE just sold for 1200.00 I was right there with my finger on the button, I would love to have one, but I'm restoring a 49 half ton now, ground off, I know to well the work involved, I don't want to pay a kings ransom for one and have to spend 6 months welding metal, which most of I'll have to make myself! just spent Six hours dollying out one front fender on this unit, got to love the metal they used in those days, you can really give it a good wack! The reserve is $1900!

It's a dark colored truck, in what appears to be a very dark garage.

You'd think if they were serious about getting premium $$ for the truck they'd pull it out into the daylight, hose it off, and take some decent pictures of it.

I need that. Cost way too much to get it from the east to the west though...

Rich,

Yeah, I guess I ticked the boss off. Looks like I out of the doghouse for now... wink

Wish me luck!
