I live in Grants Pass, Oregon. I bought my 1955 1st series 5 window last Thanksgiving. I almost immediately joined this forum. But I haven't taken the time to say hello. Neither have I taken the time to say thanks for all the times I've visited here and found useful information.
THANK YOU.
You are an amazingly experienced and helpful group.
Truthfully, I enjoy tinkering in my shop rather than staring at my computer screen, but I know where to come for help.
I look forward to helping others down the road.
My truck is a barn find that was stored for 30 years. The seller bought it and went through it to get it running for resale. If he made money, he deserved to, because I love my truck. I plan to retain its barn find character while improving its mechanical functions.
Welcome to the Stovebolt madness. There is no cure!

From one Don to another, welcome aboard the great ship of knowledge about these old iron trucks. Just ask away any questions and if you dare, organize a Meet and Greet in the great Northwest. We will all be interested and reading about it!
