Anyone out there have a recommendation on a good distributor rebuild service? I need to get the dist. for my GMC 336 rebuilt and dialed in. I sent one distributor to ignition engineering in Anaheim CA over a year ago and can’t get the guy to return my calls or emails. I think his name is John Cause. Super frustrated. Anyway, luckily I think I have an extra distributor. Any help would be appreciated.

Is that a Pontiac V-8 engine? If so, any Pontiac distr. should fit?

'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

Graydon If Ed Pruss is right find a pontiac HEI or if that bombs get a donor HEI and modify it to fit. On 235 Chevys I use the ones that are not computer controlled,can build it at home with tools you have,not rocket science.
