The only possible difference would be the length of the tailshaft which would require lengthening or shortening the drive shaft. Bottom transmission mounts are threaded on a truck (cars are not).
The OD option could be ordered to go with the 235, 261, 265 or 283 engines.
The kick-down switch bracket parts will be different between a Rochester B (I6) and the Rochester 2GC (V8).
4.11 ratio rear axle.

There will be a difference on the side cover in the clocking position and the length of the shifter shafts between cars, trucks, and years.

It case you didn't know, the early transmissions did not have synchronized first and reverse. You have to slow down or stop to shift else you get gear grind.

They also have some unique differences, one of a kind solenoid and governor, different side cover configuration, and fine spline output shaft.
