Does the new one go in the clutch fork with the curvature "up" and away from the fork? Get what I'm saying?

| | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,098 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,098 | The clutch fork is held in place in the socket with that spring and is a pivot point every time the clutch is pushed in. All of those components are potential wear points and the spring can break. Put a small amount of grease on the contact points when you assemble them.

That load goes into the socket on the bell housing, which can wear. Definitely grease that socket and the ball.
