"I have a friend that wants to fun a matching set on a 270 gmc." Typo?

Fun? Do you mean "find" a matching Zenith set or "have fun" making a matching Zenith set?

If you want to buy a matching Zenith set then Stovebolt rules say you must post your request in the Truck Parts Wanted Section.

If you need information on how to create/build your own dual matching Zenith set, I would start my education journey here:

If "fun" is a typo for "run"; 95 percent of the work in tuning multiple carbs is in the selection of the carbs.

Please observe the second line in my signature block.

Good carburetion is fuelish hot air
The most expensive carburetor is the wrong one you attempt to modify.

My self I am running a matched set of holley AA- 1 on a large port nicson on a mild GMC 302 with a cam, head work and dual exhaust it was a pain but got it to work.
I have a matching set of zenith 646087 10596A that are on a old gotha intake that he wants to run on a his GMC 270. My self I know very little about zenith carbs ! There in good shape but will need kits. He has a ellis intake he will be running. I will never use them so I was going to give them to him to help a fellow rodder out. I would like to see some one get some use out of them.

I know he will need to heat the intake to get it working but I know nothing about zenith carbs so can they be maid to work or are they just paper weights ? They have no adjustable main jet. I have never had them apart so I don't know main jet size. Can they be maid to work ?

Thanks for posting the tag number!

They can be made to run. How well they can be made to run is an entirely different story.
