Hi guys, i have a 58 viking 60, my truck never had a factory wiper switch when i got it, someone must have taken it, cant seem to find a repop of it. I have the electric wiper motor and it only has 2 wires coming off it. I have a shop manual but it doesnt seem to say what feeds the motor power for high low and park, with 2 wires. Doesnt show the switch. Just says " note where it came from and replace them correctly when reinstalling" can someone help me figure out how to wire it? Im hoping to just pop a 3 pos switch in the dash for the time being until i can get a multispeed kit for it. Switch would have 3 poles. On, off, on. Which i figured could be used for low high and off, and if im feeding the motor power through the switch or switching ground. Any help would be appreciated i believe my wires are black/white, and white. In a flat 2 pin connector. Any info is helpful thanks!

power comes from the ignition switch and the power wire is hot to the wiper motor the whole time the key switch is in the "on" position. The 2 speed wiper switch is not made by anyone anymore. The 2 wires coming from the wiper motor to the switch get grounded, If I recall, one is low speed, then both grounded is high speed, but I could be wrong on that part, it has been a while. I ordered a newer switch (64 truck, I think) that works correctly, but requires a slightly larger hole in the dash. Let me see if I can find what I ordered. I know I ended up filing the hole out in the dash and then I had to drill out the bezel nut for the original switch and buy a1/2-28 jamb nut (ebay) to fit the new switch. I put the old bezel on as a washer, and then the nut, and then the knob. You can't really see the nut with the knob on there. Also, the newer switch has the washer connection and shaft that sticks through the center of the knob. You either need to cut it off, or drill the center of your knob out if it does not already have a hole in it. (or buy a new knob if you don't have one)

I think this is one like what I bought. https://www.americanclassic.com/1964-66-Wiper-Switch-Two-Speed-W_-Washer/productinfo/67%2D648/
