Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

She has a nice big shop so, I put the truck in it and just put new heads on it last night. Now to adjust valves, button it up, and go for a test drive! We'll stay this week and help her with some projects (fixing trailer wiring and brakes) and putting a manure spreader back together, and then hopefully, head for home next weekend! | | | | | Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 2,062 Big Bolt Forum Moderator | | Big Bolt Forum Moderator Joined: Dec 2015 Posts: 2,062 | well, when adjusting valves, I found I also have a couple of lobes wiped off the cam so, time for cam & lifters also... | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 | Well, that kinda snowballed. I sometimes feel I've got a little black cloud tied to my belt with a short string (like Joe Btfsplk from Li'l Abner). I do believe the cloud has moved to your neck of the woods. At least you've got a nice place to do the necessary work.
Best of Luck on the trip home!
