i was finding individual parts in various places but not the whole assembly. i'm surprised there is not a one piece modern replacement for this mess. thanks :-)

Jim Carter has the kit, his part #ME534. Be sure to read the mounting instructions in the shop manual in terms of the proper gap. Once you understand how it functions you will understand why it can't be one piece.
