I welded a bunch of holes in the firewall. I ground down high spots with Grinder and then used a scotch brute pad to get it down a little more but still have a very slight hump should I spray high build primer on or dose anyone have a trick to make it more smooth?

Pictures would help in describing what you have.

Grind or sand it more until it is smooth. A die grinder with a sanding disc works best. 120 grit for final smoothing.
