If so, where did you buy the replacement pad that you used and how satisfied are you with the results? Also, what is the level of difficulty with doing this with the windshield in place? A decent pad.
If you have one of the common interior colors you can order the pad colored.
Otherwise your going to have to paint it.
The glass does not need to come out.
You remove the gauge cover by removing the screws surrounding it
And the lower cover around the steering column.
Then the screws at the bottom of the cover along the dash paint line
Lift up front of cover and pull toward you and that will release the clips at the bottom of the glass.
I'm sure there's probably a U-Tube video out there.

I'm sure there still good.
Also they make slip over covers that are not bad.
Sometimes that works well.
Forgot to mention there is a screw on the side at
Each end of the pad.
You start the clips in place then reinstall all the screws.
