I need the measurement shown in the example pic, but from a 16" wheel for a 47-55 1st. The distance from the outer edge of the rim to the surface the hucap sits on is what I'm looking for. Thanks

I think that measurement might differ over the AD years, as early wheels started out as 4" wide, then went to 4-1/2" wide, and they were probably all zero offset, so that might make that rim edge to inner dish surface dept vary by as much as 1/4". Wider wheels would probably be a larger dimension that later wheels. I measured three 4-1/2" wide wheels and got 3/8" on one and 7/16" on two others.

1950 models had 4 1/2 wheels if I remember correctly? So 3/8 or 7/16 are the numbers I'm looking for. Thanks

someone told me my pinstriped wheels were from '47. not sure.

They were all pinstriped. The only way to tell is to measure the width. Early trucks were 4" wide and later (not sure of the cutoff year) were 4.5" wide.

I've got 1, pinstriped, 16" 4" wide. Can post pics later if you want.
