My panel's stop light on the door is very tired

As shown in the pics, the light socket is shot. Should I:

Drill out the center and run an LED in there?

Get some kind of rebuild kit?

Other?

Mine was tired as well. The reflectiveness inside was gone.
When I restored my 51 I added the optional side bullet lamps AND added a second
Door lamp to the right door.

Used standard dual filament sockets and 1157 bulbs in those housings. Used some shiny foil
Behind the door lenses to improve reflectivity.

A lot safer feeing with all 4 lamps in use.
