The brake pedal of my '57 Panel is making contact with the metal floorboard and squeaking loud. Is there a grommet, or seal, for this?

You need to check your cab supports to make sure the cab hasn't collapsed, or that the cab hasn't shifted due to loose cab hold down bolts.

I checked the body, and nothing seems out of whack. But, the brake pedal rod is just barely making contact with the floorpan. I have temporarily wrapped the pedal rod with electrical tape to eliminate the screech, but I will definitely need to do a better upgrade. I even looked to see if I could slide the master cylinder/pedal assy back just a hair, but it doesn't look like that is an option.

I will probably end up having to widen the opening in the floor. Not something I like doing on a vehicle that already has more holes in it than it did originally! frown

Is the pedal contact point at the side or the top or the bottom? Does the pedal have any wobble to it? Does your clutch pedal rub?

It's at the top and it does not wobble.

No clutch, it's auto, now (bummer).

An easy fix would be to install slightly thicker rubber pads (or stock pads if your old ones are mashed with age) between the bottom of the cab and the front cab mounts. This will raise the cab enough to clear the pedal hole.

If it swings from the bottom, that pedal travels in an arc (naturally) and the rod connecting the swing arm to the pedal is also curved. Before I did anything else, I'd just adjust it where the swing arm meet the rod. Those don't normally get out of adjustment, but if you're replaced your front body support pads, it is very likely they've compressed just enough to make it rub a bit. Or just time might do it. Good luck!
