I’m sure the specialty vendors would love to sell me the correct thing. I’m sure I could go find any sort of random weather strip that might work ok. But before I go reinvent the wheel, just figured I’d see what other folks have used in this area.

I don't see a reason to spend $11 on something easily substituted for cheap. It fits perfectly and I didn't have to spend time cutting to fit or be concerned about the latch working properly because the clearance wasn't correct. I used weatherstrip adhesive to install it and I would imagine you'd need to do the same.
