Doing a suspension lube and noted one of the dust covers was missing. Looks to be 1 1/8" dia. Anyone know where I can get one? Going to post request on parts wanted forum. Thanks

The ones in the king pin kit I have measure 1.11 inches and are domed by about 1/8" so they expand a bit when driven into place. You might find something similar at your FLAPS (like a core plug that's shaped the same.)

The part number for a Melling 1 1/8" disc type freeze plug is MEP-10. It will fit the counterbore with a little careful grinding on the perimeter, and a firm tap with a hammer will expand it.

Thanks Jerry, will check it out! Also found that Dorman 550-015 is also a very close fit, but very hard to find. Will advise what I come up with. Ed

The Melling MEP-10 was a great fit. Took a little to get it in because of the location under the brake hose. Thanks Jerry. Hopefully this info will help another bolter down the road. Ed

Forty9 The parts stores used to have Dorman drawers for stuff like that, they were just full of little parts you needed. Now I doubt your local FLAPS in nev. has that But ask about it. Also the alignment shops may know. Here I think old parts stores could find it.
