please help, I pulled my king pins apart to rebuild and the new kit from napa will nor work. the new pin is 5 5/16" long and 7/8"thick. the old pin is just shy of 5 5/8" long and just shy of 15/16" thick. the new lower bearing is taller than the old layered bearing the came out of my truck. the truck is an 8 lug brake setup.

They probably sold you a 1/2 ton king pin set. Take them back.

I used the king pins from Classic Parts (#74-113 for the .921" dia. pins) for my '51 3/4 ton. They worked out great.

That's awesome Brian, I hope the ones I ordered will work too so I can get my truck back on the ground and rolling. 👴
