please help, I pulled my king pins apart to rebuild and the new kit from napa will nor work. the new pin is 5 5/16" long and 7/8"thick. the old pin is just shy of 5 5/8" long and just shy of 15/16" thick. the new lower bearing is taller than the old layered bearing the came out of my truck. the truck is an 8 lug brake setup.
They probably sold you a 1/2 ton king pin set. Take them back.

I just ordered them, I had tried Brothers truck, LMC, chevysofthe40's but I guess classicparts is the one to go with. Thank you Phak1 for the link. I'll let you know how it goes.
