Got my kingpins in and shimmed up nicely, now about to put the axle back. How much side-side play is typical with leaf springs? i.e. how do I know if it needs bushings?
Thanks,
Sammy

Any side to side movement is going to make the truck squirrelly going down the road. Best to change anything that is loose while you got it disassembled.

Well I got a new bushings and shackles and all the stuff, and re-assembled. Wow! what a difference in how tight it is compared to before.
Can't wait to drive it but waiting on a drag link rebuild kit first.
Thanks for the info.
