i have a 54/3100 but there is somethong about those coe that i like!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i guess it is because the are so stately and impsosing at the same time. ron

According to the, VIN (ID plate) No., this truck is actually a 1950 5400 series COE, & not a '48 model.. It also has the fuel tank, inside the cab, which is '49, & up.

Still a nice rig. He states he hasn't owned it long. Pretty truck, guy buys it, doesn't know why he bought it, sells on the 'bay, makes a buck or two.

Patrick -- Yep! And 10 grand. I think that tells us something about where the market is going. Those with COEs ought to be happy. Those of us without COEs ... bummer!

COE's are the hot ticket, it seems.

Funny, though, about 10-15 years ago, if you had said you wanted 10 grand for a truck like that they would have hauled you off to the nut house.
