I picked up the '53 3100 and got it back to the farm.
Buffed a bit of the dull paint and SHAZAM ! !

If the rest of the truck looks as good as the passenger side, you have an amazing find. It was hard to find them that straight decades ago. It appears that your truck hasn't had a very hard life. Great score. thumbs_up

Awesome Crowbar! What’d you do to polish it? I’ve got a chalky one that I’d like to see shiny again.

Used some Turtle Wax rubbing compound, then Turtle Wax polish.
Walmart buffer.
Paint is still rough on the horizontal surfaces, and will require more work, but at least this knocks off the ugly.

Stock, as it is all original, except for a wheel or two.
The guy had a 47 on the farm too, and I guess they got swapped around.
