So, my dad has a '51 3100 and he decided to put in a 55 chevy car rear in it. It seems to be right track width at 60-61", its all installed, etc. Now we have to figure out how to setup the shock supports. The originals won't work. Not enough room on the outside. his shock brackets, to me, don't have enough kick-out to better clear the rearend tube, but I thought we'd swap them and add in a universal upper coil over shock mount kit. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...G5aYhIZ2ZzoqWWf-ZRJPNNnnEGhoCAsMQAvD_BwEBut, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has done a rear swap, and what setup they used for the shocks? Thanks Chris | | |
