Looks like I'm going to have to order some on line. I know the male is 1/8 NPTS but I don't know the female/flare side size. I did find 1/8 male by 1/4 flare female and it was too large so I'm assuming it's 1/8x1/8 but I'd like to verify that before ordering. Help?

You would need a 1/8" pipe male to 5/16" inverted flare female fitting to adapt to the line from the pump to the carburetor. Check the fuel pump end of the flexible line from the frame to the pump- - - it might be able to screw into the pump directly if it's got a 1/8 NPT male thread. Another approach might be to install a 1/8 NPT male to 1/4" or 5/16" hose barb at the inlet and use a piece of flexible fuel hose and a small hose clamp as a flex line. My local Home Depot has all those fittings in stock. Measure the OD of the metal line with a pair of dial calipers - - -5/16" is 0.3125", and 1/4" is 0.250". Jerry

The new pump rebuild kit will be here today for me to rebuild the pump but I'm wanting to put new fittings on it as well just to cover all the bases. If 1/8 male x 5/16 inverted flare female is what I need that's what I'll get. Thanks.

My Napa store located these fittings in their Weatherhead catalog:
Part # 202X5 - 5/16 female inverted flare to 1/8 male NPT
Part #352X5 - 5/16 female inverted flare to 1/8 NPT (45 degrees)
I’m re-plumbing my fuel pump to correct a leak. Wonder if the 45 degree job might unclutter the traffic jam with the fuel line, vac advance line, and draft tube. It’s an expensive little devil.

I stock them all, as include several different fittings when I sell a carburetor.

It’s an expensive little devil. This is strictly a guess but I wonder if the 45 deg. fittings aren't offered as a way to use an earlier fuel pump with the straight across ports on a later engine where the ports are angled. Anyway the rebuild kit came in and I spent an hour today trying to get the new diaphragm to "hook" to the lever that rides on the cam. I had to walk away and cool down before I did something expensive. I've always been quick to anger so I don't deal with that type of situation well. I'll get it eventually but if anyone has a magic bullet solution I'm all ears.
