Only discussion allowed here on this forum is in regards to form, fit, function, performance, etc... or to provide thoughts and feedback therein

as noted in another post i have been working with Jon G on getting his new condenser option to work on the older Chevrolet's. I have a 1930 Chevrolet Universal 1/2ton Canopy Express [Huckster]

These early Chevrolets have a Delco Remy 633g Distributor which is a lot smaller then the larger ones used later one. So stashing the capacitor inside was a task, as well as many guys want to keep it looking original which means the old can condenser is mounted on the outside underneath the distributor and wired in to the electrolock.

I did a lot of trial and error and working with Jon came up with a solution that works great and fits inside, yet allows the old condenser to stay in place so that is all LOOKS ORIGINAL !! of course you have to disable the original one, and several options are provide to do so.

Thanks to Jon for working with me and coming up with this solution.

Instead of reposting all the information here, it is a lot easier to link to the original story over on VCCA. Condenser R&D Here: Chevrolet Condenser Option

I will gladly answer any questions about what i did, and how i did it. i am also open to feedback and options on other mounting options and disabling the original condenser options smile
