on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2016 Posts: 26 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2016 Posts: 26 | In the process of redoing my brakes. Rebuild was in the plans for the master cylinder as the bore looks good as do threads and the rest. Piston bore is 1.25 inch not the 1.0 bore found at Napa and the like. I have seen 1.25 listed for 3/4 ton, but thought mine was a 1/2. Can Anyone shed some light on this? Did I ID the truck incorrectly? More importantly who sells a kit. (JC is on back order). Thanks. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 2,306 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 2,306 | Try rock auto they have the complete master or you can try a part number search | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | The 3100 (1/2T) needs a 1" bore. The 3/4T 1.250 bore will require King Kong to give enough pedal pressure to stop.

So I’ll try. 🙂 Just a few wondering if this would indicate 1/2, 3/4....or a panel truck option. So thanks. It looks original to me. I have a rebuild kit on back order from JC. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 | So there are differences in the 1/2 3/4 and 1 Ton. I guess the first question would be, how many lugs are used on the wheels. A half ton has six. | | | | | Joined: May 2016 Posts: 26 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2016 Posts: 26 | | | | | | Joined: May 2016 Posts: 26 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2016 Posts: 26 | The is also a helper or overload spring on the rear. Don’t know if that means anything | | |
