In the process of redoing my brakes. Rebuild was in the plans for the master cylinder as the bore looks good as do threads and the rest.
Piston bore is 1.25 inch not the 1.0 bore found at Napa and the like.
I have seen 1.25 listed for 3/4 ton, but thought mine was a 1/2.
Can Anyone shed some light on this? Did I ID the truck incorrectly?
More importantly who sells a kit. (JC is on back order).
Thanks.

The 3100 (1/2T) needs a 1" bore. The 3/4T 1.250 bore will require King Kong to give enough pedal pressure to stop.

I’m about 230 with a size 12 foot. So I’ll try. 🙂 Just a few wondering if this would indicate 1/2, 3/4....or a panel truck option. So thanks. It looks original to me.
I have a rebuild kit on back order from JC.

So there are differences in the 1/2 3/4 and 1 Ton. I guess the first question would be, how many lugs are used on the wheels. A half ton has six.

The is also a helper or overload spring on the rear. Don’t know if that means anything
