I have a 1958 Apache 31 and am looking to find out how I can obtain the Factory Build Sheet / Line Set Ticket for my particular truck. Does anyone have any knowledge of what I am asking?

Here in Canada we have Vintage Vehicle Services. They go back to 1945, GM vehicles only, that were assembled here. Not sure what is available in the US.

If you think you have an original seat that's never been re-upholstered look on the underside, I know the trucks like mine (68 C10) you could find the build sheet in between the springs and the seat cushioning/stuffing. Look at both bottom seat and the back of the seat.

Thanks MJ. Nothing there. We upholstered the seat when we did the restoration. I took the seat out myself and never saw any paperwork attached to the seat bottom or back, but thanks for the suggestion.

I've never seen a "Factory Build Sheet" on any TF truck. The only info GM shares for our trucks is from the GM Heritage Center.

MJ Gor'don On my 72 one ton was a sticker on the glove box door that showed several thing what is that ?? Also in the glove box was a little bruchure that showed 3 different posi-tracs that could be in the truck. theone in there was tough but would bind at times and kind of force you toward the ditch...then release and be fine. Found out it needed whale oil,it really worked,and I never did see it !!

On the inside Glove Box is your SPID or Service Parts Identification Lable. Go to this website called "outintheshop.com" for whats on the SPID. I had a new SPID made up for me.

You can buy blank SPID sheets from classic parts. I'm going to try and match up the font and reproduce the options on my 67.
