I am in process of installing a TCI Mustang 2. Although I understand about shortening the collumn( I am going to use the original) Is there a step by step guide/ how to etc. I know I need to get u joints and some other parts but I have not seen a true 1 2 3 A B C's of how it is done i/e welding & so forth. :confused: My truck is patiently waiting for me and this is my free week to tackle. Thank You in advance. Jack

Most everything you can do to one of these old trucks is a very forgiving situation. But if it concerns how it stops or how it steers, it's worth it in the long run to bite the bullet and buy something from a reputable source and the rectal irritation you'll avoid is worth it in the long run.
