Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | I know of nothing other than the original pump, or an older 216 pump used with an adapter plate.

It seems to me no matter what water pump you have those 5/8"(?) hoseoutlets are going to be all the flow you ever get. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | The hose coming off the thermostat housing is about 1.25" or so right? And the lower hose slightly larger I think? I don't see them as being restrictive.

The restriction might be the smallest part where the propeller is fit against the block/head in a 216 and the adapter plate openning. | | |
