on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 238 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 238 | I'll be making a trip to the US next month, and as well as some other new toys for my truck, I'm thinking of buying one of these while I'm over. http://www.radiosforoldcars.com/newradiochevtruck47.htm My question is, has anyone on here used one of these radios? what's it like to use especially if you've used it with a CD stacker. I know I'll need to get it set up for European FM channels when I buy it. But will any CD stacker work with it? Thanks, Stuart. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 1,418 ODSS Lawman | | ODSS Lawman Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 1,418 | I have one of these and it is great! Hooked up easily, (even at 6V) and I run my iPod off it on long runs.

BTW i have been to England back in 91 my brother worked for the dept. of defense and lived there for three years at sirencheister (spelling) 90 miles west of London. i would like to go back sometime. ron

Have to agree on the ipod/mp3 idea, the CD changer units are huge, difficult to find anywhere in the cab to put one that wouldn't be in way of something else.
Ron, Hope both you and your brother enjoyed your time in England I think you must have been at Cirencester, a lovely old town in Wiltshire, lots on military bases and airfields round there too.
