Here is a list of for "annual" production of Chevrolet Advance-Design trucks.. My guess is those numbers are for "production year" not calendar year?

I have model/series breakdown for 1950, 1952, and 1953 (from Chevrolet/GM documents).

Note that Ford came out with a big-block V-8 and in 1952, and a small-block V-8 in 1954 (A-D years).
