I’d recommend a third row seat from a used suburban or Tahoe, they can be picked up cheap and come with built in seatbelts. The pic below is in a 41-46 cab, you should measure first and see if it will fit a 38.
I used a 3rd row from a Chrysler minivan. It's covered with an original style seatcover.

I like the integrated seat belts but not so much the modern design in such an old truck. Perhaps old looking seat material would help but i dont know if they make such a thing.
Edit. I like the old fashion look of Waynes seat. I think a diamond pattern might look cool too.
Does the 3rd row give adequate cushion? How about on longer trips? Tonys seat is nice because it adds head protection. I wonder if there is a way to add seat height adjustment!
One more.. where do yall get those old style seat covers? Looks great!

I bought the seat cover from Jim Carter's The seat has as much cushion as the factory seat. No height adjustment with this one though. Also no front to rear adjustment.

third row seat from around a 2000 Eddie Bauer expedition doesnt have headrests and stitching has an older style feel and design. rails for adjusting can be fabricated from some front seats that are adjustable.
