good morning to all
my son and i are doing some motor work to the 216 on the 37 canopy. we fired it up after several attempts not knowing that someone had messed with the distributor. well it fired up, we removed the valve cover and noticed one valve is not moving. the spring will manually move but not the piston. any ideas? thank you all in advanced

Piston or valve not moving? If it’s the valve, spray with a good lube and using a 2X4 block and a hammer and tap on the valve to see if you can free it up. Best to remove the rocker assembly if you can’t get to the valve stem to tap on it. If it’s the piston get your wallet out it’s gonna be a wild ride. Good luck.
