The big question is how would you mount it solidly and will you have enough clearence. There is a lot of stress on the mounts when bolted up as is, it would take a BEEFY mount to make it work properly. Just my thoughts.

My thoughts are to mount one on a cabover where I would need the arm in a different location and swing radius. The columns in those are so vertical that a traditional type mount would just swing back and forth (like a windshield wiper) rather than to and fro action. I haven't even thought about mounting yet...That happens once i know it can be rotated. Many of those had vertical columns with straight axle's. Old bread trucks are everywhere.

One problem is going to be space. The original box is crammed into a tiny spot, and they are little to begin with. I'll have to check out the Isuzus and see. I agree, there are plenty of better suited boxes out there, find one that does what you need without much modification.
