Hello all. I am nearly complete on a 20+ year project of finishing my 1950 Suburban (no judgement; school, marriage, kids, etc. have sidelined me often). Anyways, I am trying to mount the sunvisor but I can not locate any good images of where to mount in the door jamb and how the center bracket mount fits on the the windshield. Thanks in advance!
Todd, welcome to the Stovebolt. You are at the right place but the wrong forum.....very few questions get answered here in the Welcome centre so I'd suggest two things, Ask this question in the Panel/Suburban garage forum for the quickest answer.....or maybe even the paint and body forum. The garage forums is the place to be for tech questions.
....I will leave this post here so other members can welcome you.....a picture of your project is welcome...and you will enjoy looking at the pictures in the gallery. Instructions on how to post pictures are at the left bottom of the page. Watch for other members from your area. I know they are here.
Welcome to the Stovebolt madness. There is no cure!
Browse the forum list for the most appropriate place to ask your questions. Why, you ask? Because only about 1/2 of 1% of our brain trust even visits the Welcome Center.

Welcome Todd, I installed my Fulton visor several years ago. I was fortunate to park beside Cosmo at the stovebolt homecoming. He had the visor correctly installed. I measured and measured, got the holes correctly drilled and it was quite easy. The key for me regarding the centre bracket was to have all the small pieces of hardware. Best tip I can give you is the find someone who has a similar truck and ask for some help.
Welcome Todd, we don't judge here life comes first. I think we all have our issues with splitting time for projects my is 30 years and counting so your not alone. Glad your here.
