It was running fine but recently when I try to back up, it is almost like it locked up. Not sure if it is a sticky clutch (4-speed on the floor). Any suggestions or help would be very much appreciated. If so, it wouldn't be a clutch problem. And also not necessarily a transmission problem.
I would look at brakes. Possibly one of the shoes has stuck to the drum and won't let it turn.

If the lock bolt for that pin breaks or backs out, the pin can slide out and lock up against the rear end housing. You'll be able to get a little movement, but considerably less than half a turn of the rear wheels.
