Your opinion on them. I was thinkin about gettin some for my 64 chevy truck. Its a shortbed fleetside. Lowered 3" front and 6" in rear..Just a thought..they look alright.

To be honest, I'd think they make more sense on a stepside, but I can't really explain why. It's an aesthetic thing that's all. | | | | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 209 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 209 | oh yea fender skirts most definately look great on stepsides specially on the pre 54..but I never seen a 60-66 chevy truck with them around where i am from..Only seen a few online..They look different but not in a bad way..just different..haha..but i just dont want to over do it with the truck..

I should probably put them in the "parts for sale" section. marty | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 2,992 Crusty Old Sarge | Crusty Old Sarge Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 2,992 | A lot of west coast lowriders use them. I have seen them on 60-66 trucks and they don't look bad if it low enough, lake pipes help with the look though. You should check out some lowrider sites for pic's.

I don't remember ever seeing the later trucks or cars with skirts on them. Some of the rat rodders and traditionalists around here are putting them on their 40's and 50's cars and trucks and I think they look neat. Not sure about putting them on a '64 though.
