LMC, Classic Chevy Truck Parts, Mikes Carburetor, etc. does not have them. Almost all of us can make a gasket but, it is so much nicer to have one ready made. About .0870 of an inch. Doc.

I have always felt that putting a gasket there can cause the insulator to crack.
A little gasket sealer is okay.

Is it really necessary to use a gasket under a phenolic block? I always wet-sand the insulator block on a piece of plate glass to make sure it's flat on the top and bottom, and don't use a gasket on the intake manifold side.
