I've not heard of anyone swapping the new small block 427 into anything. Do you know of anyone playing with that motor? Looking at what you've posted elsewhere left me thinking you're the guy who would know.

There are a few guys on LS1tech doing it. Check out Johnb.. He has a Montecarlo SS that used to have an LS1 but is putting an LS7 in it.

I'm not seriously considering it right now, but it would be a good choice for a project about six or seven away from the top of my list.

Also, I was looking at your motor mounts. Are they just solid steel? I didn't see any kind of rubber or plastic insulators between the mounts and the frame. Perhaps there are some I couldn't see or just overlooked? Just can't see them due to the frame mounts being in front of them. They are on the bottom of the sqaure tube coming off the plate that is bolted to the motor.
