I want to replace the upper radiator hose on my 65 C60 with V8 350. Would a hose for a 65 C10 pickup be the same hose? I can find those easily. Thanks.

The best way I know would to measure the id of the hose ends and the length of the hose. If it is a molded hose take it to your local parts store and see if they can match it up. If it has a 350 in it I Don't believe that is the original engine.

1969 was the first year for the 350 in the big trucks. Might see if one of the other V8 engines fits.

Thanks for the responses. It had a 327 but I traded that engine for a 4 bolt main 350 a few years ago. I still have the same upper hose on there. It's getting dried out and I need to replace it soon. Yes I'll be taking it off and to the parts store. I was thinking this might be the same as the half tons but that engine might sit down farther from the radiator. I'll take the hose in and see what they can get me.

Yes here to. I have a flex hose that will be here in the morning. I will see how it fits. The radiator end measures 1 3/4" but the engine end is around 1 1/2". The old hose tightened down on the smaller end with no leaks. And this fitting on the engine end came off that 327 so it's what came on the truck. I hope this new hose fits. If not I might have to get a shorter hose and come up with an adapter.

You could put in a piece of metal (steel, copper, sst, etc.) and two short hoses. My '69 Tilt cab T50 came that way from the factory. The metal pipe can be any shape you want and any size on the ends. I would suggest a longish hose on at least one end to give it more movement. I don't have a good picture showing mine but I know it is original, the truck only had 4600 miles when I got it.

On my Low Cab Forward I ended up getting a hose with the correct diameter and using part of it, cutting it to get to the radius section that fit.

Thanks for the ideas and info. I went back this morning after seeing that I needed to adapt 1 1/2" to 1 3/4". I could tell it wasn't going to clamp down tight like the old hose. After looking in a book they ordered a flex hose with 1 1/2" on one end and 1 3/4" on the other.
