Parts manual list the stop: PN 365527 '41-'55 1/2 ton AL, BL , you can widen your search, or just make one. They bend easy so I doubt anything other then hardware store store steel is needed.
Easier than bending would be to cut one out of a piece of thick angle iron or tube. If you lived in my neighbourhood, I would give you a hunk of 2" x 2" x 1/4" thick square tube; after cutting away most of it, you would be left with what you need.
