I am looking for paint code for the interior of the truck cab. Have been searching the net and contacted GM Heritage. All respond interior paint code is Silver Gray-DUCO MM313 However this is not the color of the interior of my truck. I can see the color I have is the original color. Having studied different paint sheets I come up with a similar color used on 1968 Pontiac Firebird called Springmist Green or Seafrost Green. Anyone know what Chevrolet color I have in m,y truck? It is a 1961 Chevrolet Apache , Chassie.no 1C144S127237 Have attached some photos Best Regards Staffan living in Gothenburg Sweden
Your photos sure look Gray more than Green to me. I don't think Chevy would have used Green of any shade on a truck interior, as it would look off with various exterior colors. A neutral Gray would match just about anything. Why don't you have a paint shop mix you a little bit of the Silver Gray with the code you have and see how well it matches (It won't exactly match the old paint, but will be close, especially in areas that are protected from weather and sunshine.)
Welcome to the Stovebolt Forums. Nice looking truck (from what I can see of it in your pics). You should post an introduction in the Welcome Center and show us some overall pics of your project.

It is sometimes referred to as fawn. Medium fawn. I had a good cross code but i lost track of it. Both are correct. It has a very sutle green tint but mostly a silvery gray. Perfect. Tell the paint store that. The code is floating around this website. Try search on fawn or mexium fawn.

In the early years 60-63, I would use tclederman's info stating "Silver Gray Metallic" for most of inside of cab and Charcoal Metallic for top of dash (anti-glare).
J. Carter has the paint for 64-66. I believe this paint was called Fawn. Some of those 64-66 interiors used a two tone fawn. (see 65 dated/ 66 brochure pic, second paragraph)......... medium fawn and dark fawn.
You can take the glove box door to a paint shop and have them match the INSIDE, which sees very little sun.....or door panel under arm rest mounting.
Many thanks for your input. Glad to find out there is actually a paint color like silver having some green in it. Will search for a color code in this website. Please let me know if you happen to remember it or find it
