I have pulled the bed off and am currenty replacing the rear suspention and relocating the gas tank under the bed. Origanel plan was an LS swap but in the last year I have fell in love with the 230 I6 he has had his intire life. The current plan is to update the intake and exhaust and keep it simple.

Keep in mind that one day you might go ahead and do the LS swap. Check out the difference between an LS fuel system and a stock system when you go to replace the fuel tank.

Just for informational purposes there is no such truck as a swb stepside. If it has steps a more correct description would be snb stepside. Basically shortbed stepside.

I’m not sure I agree with Martin, if swb means short wheel base. That’s what I’ve called them for years. If however swb means short Wide bed, then he is correct.

SWB has always stood for Short Wide Bed in my 73 year old world. But it doesn’t matter as long as Vino Ron is happy with it he can call it whatever he likes.ðŸ›
