Not all the 261 motors are full flow. 54 through at least 57 are bypass. All the Canadian 261 blocks are bypass. And it appears that some later motors could have been either way depending on whether the pin on the block was set in or left out.
The title of the video says if all- - - -"1954". There's no way to run a full flow filter on that one without doing major modifications to the internal oil passages, and whomever built that engine doesn't care much about it- - - -they didn't even put a bypass filter on it. Jerry

I don’t know how true this is, but over the years I have been told that if the filter was painted black, installed on the factory line as an option, if it was painted a color, and there were various colors throughout the years, then it was dealer installed, mechanic installed or over the counter owner installed.
