Since Homecoming was canceled due to the current pandemic many of us have wanted to find a way to do what we love to do, get together!

Since the world has shut down, I've found some time to do some long needed wrenching and needed a test drive. So HARDSHELL and I met at the midpoint of our homes, at Lake Anna yesterday for a socially distant gathering. It was a pleasure to see Jim and his wife Jayne for a few minutes while I checked things under the hood and headed home.

50 miles of troublefree driving yesterday!

That Green machine sounds like a race car! It's always nice to cruise and take in the sights , Hopefully, we can all get back together soon "just like the good ol days ".

Nice! The Texas connection has a future caravan planned in a June. I hope we can go stretch the legs of our vehicles! I wish I could’ve joined you! Did you change anything on your truck?

Yep, 6-71. Last weekend I told my wife that I was getting it out for the virtual homecoming picture. She was walking across the yard when I drove up the hill with the old Detroit screaming and she said, "there's nothing virtual about that sound!"

" Why? "

Alrighty then, speaking of "Why?" "What's the point?" and all the other imponderables Brother Hambone conjures up .... here's a blast from the past ... And the birth event of the ODSS -- the 2007 Clifton, VA Car Show ... And the first time someone ever looked at Marlow's truck and asked that question ... the same one we've all been asking ... for years ...

Why?! And I still get asked that question from time to time or, I just get that look like, " this guy must be nuts".
I never thought about that show in Clifton being the beginning of the ODSS but it sure was. That was a fun day. We really should plan on attending that show again one day.

And the other guy said, "I don't get it ...what's the point?" Imagine what they'll say when they see the 860 next to it??

If we go in 2022, it will be the 15th anniversary
