Thanks Martin, Tom, I did a frame off rebuild started in 2000 finished in 2005. I work slowly, has a 59 261 engine .060 with a small cam and Fenton headers, Borg Warner T5 transmission. The color is Hugger Orange from a 1969 Camaro z28. The pictures are from 2019 Cruisin The Coast, in Mississippi. I go every year. Truck has been 12 yrs., always get lots of thumbs up and people want to take pictures with it. I drive it as often as I can, I built it to be driven, not looked at.

Fox, I'm not very computer savvy,Just got a digital camera 2 years ago. I have a lot of pictures but they are on film, I don't think there is a slot for that on the computer.
Bartamos, The wheels are 7 inch in the front and 8 inch in the rear. They were off of a 70's blazer.
Yes, I use Rally wheels all the time but not 5 lug like you have. This means your front and rear axles are not stock. If your wheels are Blazer, they came from a 2WD.

Bartamos, My truck has the six lug wheels, the original front and rear axles. The only things that are not original are the 261 engine and the 5 speed transmission and the floor panel for the shifter. I do still have the original 235, 318 transmission and floor panel, so the truck can be returned to original. Only other thing would be the wheels, as the original wheels were not with the truck when it was purchased. My brother had a two wheel drive Blazer which I believe was a 72 and it was a six lug front and rear.
Now I'm jealous... I really need to focus on my 59'. Very nice truck, I like the clearance lights on the cab.

Hello Tommy, wow what a great looking '59. Hugger Orange was a good color choice. I don't recall ever seeing clearance lights like those. Did they come with the truck or are the aftermarket?

The lights were on it when I bought it, I assume they were factory. I had gotten another set off of a 57 that were the same with Glass lenses not plastic. That they were Glass lenses sort of makes you think they were old.
Tommy, can you pop a cap off one of those wheels and post a pic? You have got me confused. Those are not Factory Chevy truck 6 lug Rally wheels and caps.

Bartamos, I will try but like I said earlier I am not very computer savvy. The fella I bought the wheels from had a yard full of old blazers and told me that is what they came off of. The caps are the same derby caps as the rest of Chevy cars. Could they be after market? Maybe , I bought them used.
Someone should write a book on "Rally/Ralleye/Ralley" wheels. Chevy spelled it Rally. There are so many aftermarket Rally's. But here is what I believe is true. There is so much bad information about these wheels, I hope I don't add to it.
1. Camaro came out in 67/68 with Rally wheels. Car Rally's. Can't use them, they are 15" x 7", lug pattern 5 on 4.75. They are 5 slot like yours and the style cap as yours. (pop on Police Cap/Disc Brake Cap). Vettes, Monte Carlo and others had Rally Wheels also. 2. Chevy 2WD truck went to 5 on 5 in 1971. 3. The 71 and up 4x4 stayed with 6 on 5.5. The early AD/TF truck are 6 on 5.5. You are correct that yours is that pattern. 4. Chevy Truck came out with Rally Wheels in 1975. 15 X 7, 5 LUG, 16 Slot for 2WD and 15 X 7 or 15 X 8, 6 lug, 10 slot for 4WD. Screw on cap. 5. I consider anything else as aftermarket. I saw your 5 slot, thought they were Chevy from what you said and figured they had to be 5 lug. 6. The first generation Blazer did NOT come with those wheels. The 2X4 and 4X4 Genuine GM Rally is not a "Blazer Rally". The 1975 is the first year. It was available on C10, K10, K5 and some vans. RPO N67 Wheel and RPO P06 Trim Ring.
I have seen aftermarket 5 Slot 15" Rally Wheels for 5 X 5 pattern and 6 X 5.5 Pattern (yours). Have not seen any 10 slot or 16 slot. Either I missed them or there is a GM patent. Lots of car Rally's. Lot's of Rally's of all kinds for all kind of vehicles. Some of which don't look like rally wheels to me. Just a cool name for sales.
No need to take off your cap. I was just trying to identify the maker.
The word slots, when used with Rally Wheels, is the decorative design slot/opening not the thin slots between the flanges where standard wheels are riveted or welded.
I guess I did write a book. Dang it!
Gentlemen, please limit your wheels discussion to “Truck” wheels. Thank you

Interesting discussion. Got me thinking about the difference in car wheels versus truck wheels. If a classic truck is still intended to be used as a truck, is it a mistake to be installing car IFS and relative wheels? Can car IFS and wheels handle the weight?

This wheels discussion is for another thread possibly in Driveline where we normally discuss wheels. Thank you
