I'm sitting here at home thinking about all of y'all . I hope and pray that everyone is safe during these troubled times. I'm glad that we have the technology to become aware ahead of time to try to prevent the masses from a terrible and deadly infection. I think this virus was already here several weeks ago. My son works in a Walmart distribution center and he feels certain that he had this flu over 3 weeks ago based on his symptoms. At 31 years old, it took him a week to get over it and he lost a noticeable amount of weight.
I know we are all about trucks but these trucks would not be nearly as great without the friendship and genuine folks that I always enjoy spending time around !

Stay well Fellow Bolters

Jim

I was just thinking the same thing Jim.
Miss not having the Homecoming, and the road trip with Tim.
Cold rainy day here in Mid Missouri and we are just staying inside.

Yesterday I took a long ride by myself in my old truck.

I noticed many more smiles and made everyone feel a little better. It was an enjoyable ride.

I look forward to our next gathering. Whenever that may be!

Sweet, I know you probably stopped by one of the DB outlets!
If not, you are searching out another place for us to stop by next year!

Thanks Jim and all for this.
Yep, strange times for sure. Since I am an essential staffer, I am still coming to work everyday although the place is closed down (Monday will be two weeks and they are saying 2 more on top of that). I am thankful on one hand that I still have my job but on the other hand, I can't get any time off even during a pandemic!?
I was thinking it would be a good weekend to go for a ride in an old truck but I heard it is supposed to be a rainy one. Oh well, maybe next weekend.
Stay safe everyone.
Cheers.

Marlow, I was just thinking about how "special" you are ... I was reading this morning on Fox about all the strange things the California gov't is telling people not to flush down their toilets and for some reason, it made me think of you ... big_eek

As for the rest of you ... Here's the King to say ... thangya, thangyaverramush

I'm using this time to give some much needed repair and maintenance to our trucks (and cars). I was planning on doing some work on the 57 before taking it to Homecoming, so figured I would go ahead and do it to prepare for "Virtual Homecoming" At this rate, I may have them all fully restored by the time it's safe to gather again---yeah, right! smile

Nice to hear from all you guys on this wonderful site. A special thanks to all of our care givers out there!

I'm just trying to follow the directive I gave myself years ago when I put a sign up in my shop: "PRACTICE SAFETY".

Love you guys and see you around the bend!

Bald eagle,

Maybe we just need to do a Texas get together. Or maybe take a convoy to KC.

John,

I have 4-5 trucks rolling on a road trip in June. Hopefully we get a couple more to meet us there from other areas. Stovebolt flag will be there for the pictures!
